The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is one of the 12 regional Reserve Banks that, together with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., make up the Federal Reserve System. It helps formulate and implement monetary policy, supervises banks and bank and savings and loan holding companies, and provides financial services to depository institutions and the federal government. The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia serves eastern and central Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware.

You will coordinate and integrate the Facilities department’s as-built Revit model and associated documents, with a moderate degree of supervision. You will interact with various team members and outside consultants to support the goal of creating a single source of truth and “digital twin” for the building. You will report to the Project Manager of Design & Construction.

Job Description:

45%

  • You will create, update, and maintain building records consisting of models, drawings, specifications, submittals, operation and maintenance manuals, etc.
  • Ensure information referenced by Bank and outside personnel for construction and maintenance projects is current and accurate.
  • Link documents to other tools and to each other, where beneficial and appropriate.
  • You provide modeling, drafting, and coordination support for facilities projects to enable the creation of detailed construction documents.
  • Incorporates model updates efficiently and effectively. Model architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems in Revit.
  • You support continuous improvement efforts to achieve a goal of a “digital twin” for the building.

  • You serve as an in-house expert in Building Information Modeling (BIM) execution and industry standards.
  • You support the development of standard practices, libraries, etc. to ensure appropriate levels of accuracy are maintained.
  • Present model content, renderings, etc. to a variety of internal audiences.
  • You will advise team members on procedures, capabilities, limitations, etc. related to the model and other documentation.

10%

  • You will maintain department licenses and access for relevant software (Revit, etc.) and hardware (plotters, etc.), and supports related coordination with IT.
  • Provide support in response to Revit and AutoCAD-specific issues and questions.
  • You support planning, design, and construction efforts through information gathering, coordination, and record control.
  • You support training efforts, proper structure of shared drive folders, transition of documents from project folders to building systems folders, completion of punch list items, and other related tasks.

  • You will gain continuous growth and education through classes and pursuing additional industry credentials.
  • You perform other related duties as assigned.
  • You will fulfill job duties and responsibilities in conformance with sound safety practices.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate`s degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong PC software skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office products, as well as ability to learn new software as required.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with others including internal groups, end users, and outside vendors.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

The salary grade for this position is 8. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, and skills, and internal equity and alignment with market data.
