* Lead LM Space's software quality assurance team that support programs across all LOBs
* Directly manage a team of Quality leaders who work closely with Program Management in support of development, deployment, and operations
* Develop strategies, systems and metrics designed for all aspects of the software lifecycle. Ensure the quality of Programmatic products and processes by establishing quality requirements and then verifying, and/or certifying that all behaviors and end-items are conforming
* Develop and implement the LM Space software, artificial intelligence and machine learning quality engineering strategy that delivers on company and program needs
* Routinely engage with subject matter experts in software development, artificial intelligence and machine learning. Establish common quality standards, mobilize team to uphold standards across all programs
* Coaches, mentors, develops, and at times leads training on quality methods & processes
* Lead improvement projects across the organization to align business processes, institute common process, and drive QMS efficiency
* Participate in planning, contribute directly to design, procurement, manufacturing, and test decisions. Impose quality controls on design, test, and manufacturing. Facilitate appropriate Corrective Action Boards
* Provide a monthly assessment of Program health based on metrics, trends, and recent events with recommendations for corrective actions or improvements

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
* Ability to proactively drive change and continuous improvement
* Effective management and leadership skills of organization of leaders and individual contributors
* Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication, and organizational skills
* Experience with proposals, requirements, design, development, testing of space and ground software
* Ability to multi-task, detail orientated, strong job closure and analytical skills
Desired Skills:
* Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college in computer science, software engineering or equivalent discipline (e.g., computer engineering)
* Approximately 10 years related technical experience in software development and/or software quality
* Approximately 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience
* Proven ability to manage Quality efforts in accordance with enterprise level command media and program specific requirements
* Proven ability to use analytical data to drive software development improvements
* Demonstrated knowledge of agile and waterfall software development
* Demonstrated knowledge of AS9100 Quality System requirements
* Working knowledge of LM Mission Success process
* Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies and demonstrated experience in the development and evaluation of effective preventative/corrective action plans
* Ability to proactively communicate, motivate and influence (including presentation and customer interface skills)
* Thorough understanding of LM Configuration Control processes
* Experience as CAM, proposal BOEs, monitoring and maintaining budget allocations
* TS/SCI Clearance
Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly SP

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $140,400 - $269,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $161,500 - $304,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
