Vice President, Operations & Services Groups Finance

The Team
The Vice President of OSG Finance will report to the Head of FBOT Finance & Strategy. This position will lead the finance function and manage a team comprised of decision support and FP&A associates providing direct support of Operations & Services Group (OSG). We support a $400M expense organization comprised of 1700 associates who provide back-office support (servicing a multitude of activities from almost 50M brokerage accounts) for all the Fidelity Brokerage businesses that OSG supports including Fidelity Brokerage, Fidelity Wealth, Clearing, Custody, Capital Markets, and FI Intermediary. OSG activities include clearing & settlement of domestic and international trades, asset servicing/corporate actions, margin, account maintenance/TOA, treasury, tax services, alternative investments, inbound operations, OSG client services and many more.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of OSG (Chief Operating Officer) providing financial direction during the planning process supporting a multi-year-plan, budget, and Forecast. The position will also partner with the OSG strategy & planning team to manage key initiatives, scale & efficiency efforts and KPIs. As the financial fiduciary, the role will coordinate with the business, corporate accounting, compliance, and risk to ensure the expense ledger and balance sheet are accurate and comply with policy. The role also provides business case support, presenting financials, providing financial stewardship for the business, closely managing scorecard metrics, and unit costing.
This leader will also be responsible for the financial oversight and management of $150M+ in vendor costs including external clearing/industry utilities, market data, and equipment & software. Additionally, the role provides guidance for Finance Tools such as Next Generation of Allocated Views (NGAV), providing activity-based costing to all of the brokerage channels supported by OSG.
The successful candidate will help FBOT and OSG leaders by bringing initiative-taking thought leadership and creative thinking to the FBOT finance organization. Success will require an analytical approach, collaboration skills, comprehensive problem solving, independent thinking, intellectual curiosity, and strong people management skills.
The Expertise We are Looking for and Skills You Bring
*Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or equivalent with 12+ years of experience or advanced degree with 10+ years of experience.
*In-depth knowledge of the brokerage industry and underlying activities.
*Outstanding strategic, analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, project management, and problem-solving capabilities.

The base salary range for this position is $123,000-$207,000 per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
